Week 104: Two Years Abroad

Today, we celebrate ✌️ years abroad.

Over the course of the last 365 days, we traveled to 12 new places and had 3.3K blog visitors from 88 countries. We slept in 3 mountain huts, a tent, and in a remote village in the middle of Spain. We stood on the top of the Traunstein, the side of Tirol’s tallest waterfall, and in the annex where Anne Frank wrote her diary. We ferried across the Mediterranean Sea, kayaked along the Adriatic Sea, SUP’d on the Traunsee, and jumped into Slovenian canyons. We touched history at the Berlin Wall and along the Dolomite tunnels and trenches. We watched the Eiffel Tower sparkle and Mt. Etna erupt. We ate Sicilian pizza, French macaroons, and Spanish mushrooms and pádron peppers. We oohed and ahhed at the sunset on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland and the sunrise on Charles Bridge in Prague.

Year two was epic and here is a video to prove it–

To kick off year three, we have three visitors–my parents this week and Eric’s dad next week!!!

Thank you to everyone who follows our journey, reads the weekly recap, watches, likes, or shares our videos, and subscribes to our YouTube channel. We document our adventures for us to remember, but we love knowing our journey helps and inspires others to explore the world.
